At The International School @ ParkCity we recognise the importance of educating the ‘whole’ person. It is too often the case that schools focus only on the academic side of a child’s development. We intend to do things differently and better.

The three main components of the curriculum at The International School @ ParkCity are:

The Core Subjects
The essential core subjects are English, Mathematics and Science. These will be taught with continuity and progression from year to year.
Creative Arts
Utilising the excellent facilities available on The International School @ ParkCity grounds to deliver a Creative Arts programme that embraces the beauty and wonder of Music, Art and Drama.
Global Awareness
It is our responsibility to prepare every student to be successful in our ever-changing world. The Global Awareness programme will include such subjects as History, Geography, Community Outreach, Life Skills, Business Studies and Global Perspectives.

The curriculum will be delivered via the following themes:

Learn Play Grow
Nurturing Open And Inquisitive Minds.

We recognise that all children are different and all are talented in different ways. They learn in many ways, and we will deliver a curriculum that allows children of all learning styles to achieve their maximum potential. This will be done by combining academic rigour with experiential ‘learning-by-doing’ activities. The Primary School curriculum is based on the internationally recognized IPC (International Primary Curriculum), while the Secondary School will base its programme on the UK National Curriculum. These will prepare students for the IGCSE examinations (International General Certificate of Secondary Education), which the students between the ages of 14 to 16 years will take.

These courses will be delivered by teachers of the highest calibre, utilising the most current teaching and learning methodologies.

Learn Play Grow
A Discovery-Based Learning Approach To Education

Bright, well-rounded children are the result of a holistic education that emphasises the quality of the wider curriculum. Outside of the classroom, students will be encouraged to participate in a wide-range of after-school activities that will meet the needs of all.

Students will be able to explore various activities to develop their self-awareness, self-expression, confidence, creativity, critical thinking and inter-personal skills. Our extensive facilities will cater to:-

Places And Spaces For Discovery

The learning environment at The International School @ ParkCity is designed to create an inspiring and engaging school that will comprise more dynamic and informal learning places and spaces. This will afford greater flexibility in the way that the curriculum is delivered, and more discovery or enquiry-based learning will happen outside of the classrooms.

Social, discussion and study spaces are also key features. These include specially designed ‘study pods’, multiple courtyards, a lounge, and a concourse which serves as the social hub of The International School @ ParkCity.

We also recognise the significant role that technology plays in the modern society. Therefore, we have made the entire campus a ‘wireless’ zone, enabling easy internet access. We are the first international school in the country to incorporate a fully comprehensive technology-supported learning platform in the building design.
