Looking forward to the ISQM Accreditation Visit – from the Executive Principal

Dear ISP Families

As you are aware, the International Schools Quality Mark (ISQM) Accreditation Visit will take place next week from the 9th – 12th October 2017.  We warmly welcome three inspectors into our school, namely Mr Jim Alexander, Ms Valerie Dunsford and Mr Robin Atfield.  As a reminder, the purpose of the ISQM Accreditation is to provide a means by which parents, students and staff are assured that our school has been judged by independent evaluators to meet rigorous quality standards.  In addition, we look forward to the visiting team sharing their expertise and experience to support ISP’s continuing development and improvement.

Across the Main Campus and the Early Years Centre, we have been preparing for this visit for almost 4 years, with lots of work having already taken place, including the creation of the detailed School Self Review Document (SRD). During their visit, the inspectors will be able to gain a thorough insight into all aspects of the school via various means, including lesson observations and meetings with Students, Staff, Parents and members of the Board. I have no doubt that they will also collect other evidence on both a formal and informal basis to help them to get a true understanding of the type of school we are.

We are confident that our important visitors will leave with a very positive impression of our wonderful students and dynamic school.  As always, I will share the report of the Accreditation visit with you as soon as I receive the final version.

Wishing you all a pleasant weekend ahead.

Kind regards

Andrew Dalton

Executive Principal & Director of Education
