Primary News – 29th September 2017

We were delighted to welcome a group of 40 visiting officers, advisors, principals and directors from Sentul District Education Office to the Primary school yesterday. Our guests had a tour of the school, joined classes for English and IPC lessons, then took part in a ‘Talk 4 Writing’ workshop lead by Miss Laura.

As Mr Dalton highlighted in his welcoming speech, school visits are always a two-way exchange of ideas. Not only was the day a chance for our visitors to further their knowledge and understanding of various teaching methods, it was also an excellent opportunity for our students and staff to learn more about the wide range of schools in the local area.

I would like to say thank you and congratulations to our newly appointed Year 6 Prefects, who helped with the visit by welcoming our guests in the morning, and leading them on a tour around the school campus. Student Council representatives also assisted expertly by showing visitors to classes for English and IPC lessons, and introducing them to their classes.
