What a fantastic last week of term we’ve had. If you managed to make the Performing Arts assembly on Thursday afternoon you were in for a treat. Miss Evy and her team produced an inspirational programme which integrated a musical education with performances of Mozart, West Side Story, Baroque music from the Chamber Group, The Evolution of Music from the secondary choir, The Phantom of the Opera, some traditional pop dance, Shakespeare, and a gorgeous Romantic period performance. The whole show ended appropriately enough with a performance of Radiohead’s beautiful ‘Exit Music (For a Film)’. It was a privilege to experience what such a talented group of students and staff can achieve.
So many parents & students have been talking about the Secondary Performing Arts concert. Everyone had their favourites…but no one can fail to love a bit of Mozart.#PerformingArts #Mozart pic.twitter.com/ivC1FAH7pp

The last short term has flown by and both students and staff are ready for a good break. Please spare a thought for the students in Years 11, 12 and 13 who are going to be working hard on their preparation for their exams which start only three weeks after we return to school on the 10th April. I wish them all lots of luck with their revision programme and also shouldn’t forget the Year 9 students taking their Bahasa exam a couple of years early.
Thanks to all of you for your support this term and I look forward to another term of excitement and achievement from our wonderful Secondary students.
